For Canadians trying to shop more consciously, considering a tire brand’s headquarters and its manufacturing locations may be a factor in the final decision.
This table shows where some of the brands we carry are based and the principal locations where its tires are produced.

The simplest takeaway
Within this group, Michelin and Bridgestone have the clearest Canadian tire manufacturing operations. Michelin manufactures in Nova Scotia, while Bridgestone operates its Joliette, Quebec, plant.
Choosing an imported tire can still support Canadian jobs. Our suppliers are Canadian owned and operated, while Shire Tire is an independent Edmonton business. Tires purchased through us support Canadian warehousing, transportation, sales and local installation even when the tire itself was manufactured elsewhere.
